I disagree a bit about women's nudity/sexuality being harmful when portrayed on TV - but I definitely agree that there is too much sexuality that isn't representative of healthy sex that drives a story or makes a point. In Sex/Life, the men and women are equally sexualized, in fact the men show more than women in it (which is wild). I think showing sexuality frankly in media can be really healthy! But I agree - if it's manipulative, that's not great. I actually feel the same way about tragedy and crimes against women, IE using r*pe as a plot device. It's all the same sort of exploitation and it should all be handled with care and consciousness.

I think a little sensitivity is generally a good thing.
