As for the quiet quitting marriage thing, thing about it this way: it's not about all husbands, it's about abusive and unkind husbands. Nobody anywhere says that this is HOW men are. It's this one type of husband. I think there are equivalents of this for wives, too. The difference is that it's very rare that a wife has all the financial power in a relationship, so a man can leave a woman who is unrelentingly cruel and who won't get help. He has probably not lost a great deal of income potential by having kids with her (in fact, men who have children tend to have higher incomes and are preferred in hiring - the opposite for women).
So while men may need to have conversations like this about unrelentingly cruel wives, they may not look the same due to that power imbalance.
To the other point about Armchair Expert - your son must be awesome if she's his fave. She's famously brilliant and unique and talented. <3
It's only on Spotify, they got a huge deal with Spotify - I believe it set a record at the time - so they are exclusive to them. The commercials are easy to skip, I just hit the 10 second forward button 3 times and it's done.
I think it's going to absolutely blow your mind, but I bet you'll find episodes that move you that are different from the ones that move me. This one is just amazing - but I might have to put together a list of episodes I think you'd love. For a fun one, I highly suggest the one with Max Greenfield. Their conversations about the role of AA and talking to other men is so fun and hilarious and really meaningful. I think it's the episode I laughed the hardest at. The David Letterman one is lovely. I already sent you the one with the Harvard psychiatrist - that one is incredible.
